FULL TERMS AND CONDITIONS – 18th January
– 31st January 2010
The BRIT Awards with MasterCard and Oasis Promotion
1. The Promotion is open to UK
residents aged 18 years or over, holding a MasterCard card issued by a UK
financial institution, excluding employees and their families of MasterCard,
Oasis, its agents or anyone else professionally connected with this promotion.
2. The promotion
will run from 18th January – 31st January 2010
(“Promotional Period”).
3. To enter the prize draw cardholders
will be required to make a purchase on their MasterCard in any Oasis store or
at oasis-stores.com and then either 1. Text the word ‘OASIS’ to 83833. Standard
network rates apply to text entries. Please note that texts may not be included
in all ‘text-inclusive’ packages. 2. Register their details online at
oasis-stores.com-thebrits. 3. if making a purchase at an Oasis store, fill in their details on a provided postcard in store. After the cardholder
have registered their details from one of the 3 entry routes they will be put
into the prize draw. If cardholders have a winning entry they will be required
to provide an Oasis receipt showing MasterCard as the payment mechanic and dated
between 18th – 31st January inclusive.
4. Qualifying
entries are Store Transactions or Oasis Online Transactions made during the Promotional
Period as above, and 'No Purchase' entries received during the Promotional
Period as above in accordance with clause 7.
The Promoter cannot be held responsible for any entries lost or delayed
for any reason whatsoever.
5. All text, online or in store entries
must be received by midnight (UK time) on 31/01/10. The prize draw will take
place on 01/02/10. This date is fixed and will not be changed unless
circumstances outside our reasonable control make it unavoidable.
6. The first winner
drawn at random will receive a VIP prize package consisting of 10 x Platinum
table tickets to The BRIT Awards 2010 on 16th February 2010, 10 x
tickets to the official BRIT Awards after show party, Return private transfers
to and from The BRIT Awards and London hotel for 10 people, Return travel to
London for 10 people from any other UK location, 1 nights hotel accommodation on
16th February 2010 in 5 twin room, breakfast on the 17th,
hair and make for the night of The BRIT Awards by Benefit and Toni and Guy
respectively, a personal shopping experience in Oasis Argyll Street to the
value of £150 for 10 people and Promotion Insurance.
7. No purchase
necessary (Northern Ireland Only): For alternative entry without purchase in Northern Ireland
only, send your name and address and
the first six numbers of your MasterCard card number to The
BRIT Awards with MasterCard and Oasis Promotion, Oasis Fashions Limited,
Marketing Department, 69-77 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4PN. Only one entry per stamped envelope.
Bulk entries will not be accepted.
8. Proof of posting
is not proof of delivery. Promoter is not liable for lost, damaged or late
postal entries.
9. The draw will
take place under independent supervision and the winner will be
notified by phone or email within one week of the end of the Promotional
Period. The first entrant to be drawn will win the
VIP BRITS package. The decision of the Promoter is final, and no
correspondence will be entered into.
10. Prize winners will have one week
from despatch of winning phone or email notification to acknowledge the prize.
Failure to do this will result in the prize being re-drawn.
11. Prize winners must be aware that
flash photography will be used throughout the evening. The Promoter will not be
held responsible for the prize winner and/or companions not taking
advantage of the prize due to health or any other reason.
12. There is no cash or other
alternative for any of the prizes in whole or in part except that in the event
of circumstances outside of its control the Promoter reserves the right to
substitute any of the prizes with one of equal or greater value. The prizes
must be taken by the winner in person unless otherwise agreed in writing by the
Promoter.
13. The prize winners and companions must
be aged 18 or over and may be required to participate in related publicity.
14. Prize Winners’ names and counties are
available by sending a stamped SAE to ‘The BRIT Awards with MasterCard and Oasis
Winners’, Oasis Fashions Limited, Marketing
Department, 69-77 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4PN.
15. This promotion is open to UK
residents only.
16. Entrants' personal data are
processed by the Promoter, the controller of your personal data, and also by
the Promoter’s agency involved in administering the Promotion and, in the case
of winners, their issuing financial institution. Entrants' personal data shall
be processed for the purpose of your participation in the Promotion only and
will only be retained as long as necessary for such purpose (i.e. until 3
months after the end of the Promotion). Entrants can request access to and/or
rectification of their personal data. For these purposes entrants can contact
